Northside Nate is a songwriter from Toronto, Canada who specializes in hip hop, RnB and pop music. Nate has been writing and producing music for over 17 years and constantly strives to refine his craft each time he starts writing a new song. Versatility is one of Nate’s noticeable traits, he has the ability to listen to a wide variety of music and replicate the sound with great precision. Northside Nate has been passionate about music for as long as he can remember. He started writing raps after playing ‘The Score’ by ‘The Fugees’ in his cassette player over and over to break down their flow patterns and vocabulary, he also grew up listening to Skee-lo and developed a firm understanding of storytelling from an early age. Nate now writes and produces songs for artists all over the world and teaches artists of all skill levels the fundamentals of how to write rap music in one on one sessions on Zoom. Nate plans to open up a rap school where he teaches everything he knows so that others can get the sound they’re looking for much easier.
